This protection is done by breeding and keeping tyrannosaurus rexes and feeding them from birth on red meat and fresh tea leaves.
The tea makes them docile/tame enough to ride or even just let wander on your premises. Dubbed Tea-Rex, this modern breed of dinosaur is a plantation owners' best ally against tea thieves be they cretaceous or just opportunistic humans.
