Introduced in 1934, the English Electric Balloon is a style of tram still operated on the Blackpool Tramway. Originally open top, the enclosed Balloon was put into action in the latter half of the 1940s, with the increasing need for shelter and protection during the air raids of WWII. Formerly decorated in a green and cream design, this 1:76 model is adorned in an energic red livery, designed sympathetically to both the Coca-Cola brand and vehicle.
